Fog signal installation

To start the fog signals different instrument were used. 

Fog valve VT2220 with hair from China
as the detector element
The left unit had also a thermostat. 1934

Electrooptic fog detector 1965
Modulated IR light was transmitted from the right lens and when
it hit the fog particles it reflected back into the left receiving lens.
At a preset level it started the fog signal.
